Planning and construction of Beishan Park began in September. 1980.

Planning and preparation of Beishan Park began in September, 1980, started in June, 198 1, and completed in June, 1987. Beishan Park is located in Beishan Mountain, a famous mountain in Pingwu. It turned out to be the White Horse Holy Mountain. After the Ming Dynasty, it was called Arrow Tower Mountain, surrounded by city walls, belonging to the mountain in the city. There are many relics of the Ming city wall, and the Ming city wall more than 200 meters east is well preserved. The greater source of Beishan Park is "celebrity gathering". The name of the park "Beishan Park" was inscribed by Wang, then vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC). The words "Red Army Forest of Steles" on the banner at the main entrance of the Memorial Hall of the Red Army Forest of Steles were inscribed by Xu, then Deputy Marshal, and Zhang Aiping, Minister of National Defense. Door couplet "broke ground, and the cliff word left a war note; Unforgettable, after the Kun Dynasty, the front emblem was written by fellow countryman Zhang Xiushu; The name of the museum and the couplets were inscribed by Ye Shengtao, a famous writer and educator.

Beishan Park covers an area of 28.3 hectares, and the forest area accounts for 99%. There are 24 building units in the park, including corridors, pavilions, platforms, buildings, pavilions, monuments, doors, towers and pools, with more than 4,000 stairs.
