Kaishanji in Luoyuan County is located halfway up the mountain in Yin Yan. According to the Records of New Shuyuan County, this temple was originally named "Baiyun Temple". Founded in the ninth year of Taiping and Xingguo in the Northern Song Dynasty (967), it has a history of 1000 years. Incense has flourished since ancient times, with more than 360 monks living in it. It was repaired several times in history and collapsed at 1949. After the Eleventh Plenary Session, the county government implemented the religious policy, rebuilt the Baiyun Temple (also known as Kaichan Temple) at 198 1, and approved it as an open temple in June 5438+February of the same year.

At present, Kaizenji covers an area of over 30,000 square meters, with a building area of over 10000 square meters. There are 265,438+0 halls, 65,438+008 shacks, 65,438+08 tea rooms, 6 classrooms and 65,438+05 warehouses. Now there are more than 10 monks living in the temple, who keep chanting in the morning and evening. The Great Prajna Paramita Sutra is a daily classic of monks. Every year, the Dharma Sanfan Water and Land Puduzhai is held regularly.

Since 2007, Kaizen Temple has spread Buddhism with modern ideas and integrated China's excellent traditional culture into Buddhist temples. Under the advocacy of Master Pu Guang, the abbot, various public welfare education activities focusing on experiencing Buddhism and Chinese studies have been established one after another. Such as Buddhist classics, meditation experience and Buddhist psychology; China tea ceremony culture, flower path, fragrant path, calligraphy and painting.

The purpose of charity is to educate the Buddha, to establish a pure Buddhist group as the basis, and to promote Buddhism as the purpose, leading the believers in the temple to practice together.
