School of Mathematics and Information Science is one of the second-level colleges with the longest running history in Weifang University. Its predecessor was the Mathematics Department of Changwei Teachers College, which was founded in 1960. In the long-term operation, a large number of outstanding mathematics educators have been trained, which has made positive contributions to the basic education in Weifang City and even Shandong Province.
