Liaocheng Municipal Education and Sports Bureau is the working department of the municipal government, and the Education Working Committee of Liaocheng Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China is the agency of the Municipal Party Committee, co-located with Liaocheng Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, and Liaocheng Municipal Education and Sports Bureau (hereinafter referred to as the Municipal Education and Sports Bureau) is at the level.
Main responsibilities:
(a) to study and formulate the party building plan of the city's education system and guide its implementation. To be responsible for the investigation and study of major issues concerning Party building in the city's education system, put forward opinions and suggestions to the Municipal Party Committee, and make decisions on relevant issues within the scope of its functions and powers.
(two) responsible for guiding the city's education system, the party's grassroots organization construction and party member team construction. To guide the ideological and political construction of the city's education system, as well as the moral education and spiritual civilization construction of schools. Cooperate with the party building and related work in provincial universities. To guide the relevant work of mass organizations such as trade unions, youth league committees and women's federations in the city's education system.
(three) responsible for the theoretical propaganda and news propaganda work of the party in the city's education system. Responsible for ideological and political work in municipal schools, grass-roots party building, maintaining stability and comprehensive management of social security. Assist the Organization Department of the Municipal Party Committee in the management of relevant school leaders. Responsible for the United front and mass work in municipal schools.
(four) to implement the laws, regulations and policies of education and sports, and to be responsible for drafting relevant local regulations and government regulations within the municipal authority. To formulate policies, plans and organize the implementation of education reform and sports development in the whole city. Responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic information of education and sports. Responsible for promoting the construction of diversified sports service system and promoting the reform of sports public service and sports system. Do a good job in industry safety management according to the division of labor, and be responsible for the safety supervision of participating sports boats.
(five) responsible for the overall coordination of the city's basic education (including preschool education), vocational education, continuing education, private education, minority education and special education. Responsible for the construction of talent team in the field of education and sports in the city, and in charge of the work of teachers in the city. Guide the internal management of the school and the reform of education and teaching. Responsible for education supervision and evaluation. Responsible for promoting the balanced development of compulsory education and promoting educational equity.
(six) to co-ordinate the layout of middle and lower schools, and undertake the examination and approval of the establishment, merger, renaming and adjustment of ordinary high schools, ordinary secondary schools and vocational secondary schools in accordance with the regulations.
(seven) responsible for the overall management of municipal education funds, participate in the formulation of education fund raising, education funding, education infrastructure investment and student funding policies, and supervise the raising and use of education funds.
(eight) to guide the city's secondary and below education examination enrollment and educational administration.
