From 65438 to 0998, China Renmin University founded the first online university in China-Online People's Congress. Online people's congresses are mainly aimed at on-the-job personnel, and they practice amateur and decentralized learning based on the Internet.

Graduates are awarded the graduation certificate and bachelor's degree certificate of network education of Renmin University of China, and their academic qualifications are recognized by the state, and the Ministry of Education uniformly registers electronically.

Online People's Congress has established 17 undergraduate and specialist majors/directions, covering four levels, developed more than 300 online courses, and set up teaching service centers in more than 100 cities nationwide.
