Shenyang Conservatory of Music is a national cultural quality education base for college students, a demonstration base for red classic art education in colleges and universities, an advanced unit for school art education in China, a training base for artistic talents in Liaoning Province, and a key research base for humanities and social sciences in Liaoning Province.
Through the joint efforts of several generations of "Shen Yinren", the college has developed continuously and become a famous art college in China. In recent years, the College has made great progress and development in discipline construction and professional development, educational reform and teaching management, scientific research and artistic practice, personnel training and teaching staff construction, adhering to the school-running philosophy of "rooting the nation, integrating with the times, serving the society and leading the advanced culture", and has made outstanding contributions to building a harmonious society, revitalizing the old industrial base in Northeast China, serving the local economic construction and leading the advanced culture.
As of June 5438+ 10, 2020, the College has four campuses, namely, Hao San Campus, Changqing Campus, Taoxian Campus and Dalian Campus, covering an area of 460,000 square meters (about 689.5 mu), and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 96,322,300 yuan. There are 18 teaching units and 17 undergraduate majors. Full-time teachers 1073, full-time students 8092, including 7606 undergraduates and 486 postgraduates.
