This school was founded in 1906, located in Gangzha District. In the renaming work, it was recognized by Zhang Jian's descendants. Yang Jinping, deputy director of Chongchuan District Education and Sports Bureau, said that the renaming work has started to enhance the brand image of the school. She also pointed out that two schools named after Zhang Jian were established in 1906, and the Chongchuan District Education and Sports Bureau also issued a document for the first time, agreeing that the original Gangzha District Experimental Primary School should be renamed as Nantong Zhangjian No.1 Primary School. So Qixiu in the north of Gangzha District is not Zhang Jian.
