Can non-education majors take the teacher qualification examination?
Non-education majors can also take the teacher qualification examination.

Persons who meet the following basic conditions may sign up for the qualification examination for primary and secondary school teachers:

(1) Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents with People's Republic of China (PRC) nationality or studying, working and living in the Mainland;

(2) Abide by the Constitution and laws of People's Republic of China (PRC), support China's leadership, adhere to the socialist direction of running schools, implement the party's education policy, love education, and have good ideology and morality;

(3) meeting the physical examination standards for applying for teacher qualification;

(four) in principle, should have the corresponding qualifications stipulated in the "Teacher Law", and should meet the requirements of academic qualifications determined and published in this province.

Students in the third grade and above in ordinary colleges and universities can apply for the exam with the certificate of studying abroad issued by the school.
