What is Jingdezhen Ceramic University like?

Jingdezhen Ceramic University is the only multidisciplinary university named after ceramics in China. It is one of the first batch of 365,438+0 independent undergraduate course art colleges in China, and one of the 94 colleges and universities in China that are qualified to recruit China government scholarships for overseas students. It is an excellent engineer education and training program of the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry of Education has deepened the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education. The first batch of participating institutions, the first batch of national universities with typical experience in innovation and entrepreneurship, and the first batch of pilot institutions for transformation and development have developed into an important base for ceramic talent training, ceramic scientific and technological innovation, and ceramic cultural and artistic exchanges throughout the country and the world.

Brief introduction of Jingdezhen Ceramic University

The school was founded in 19 10, China Ceramic School (located in Poyang, Jiangxi). 19 12 was renamed as Jiangxi lirao ceramic school. 19 15 was renamed as Jiangxi second-class industrial school, and 19 16 set up a branch school in Jingdezhen. 1925 was renamed Jiangxi Liyao School. 1927 was renamed Jiangxi Ceramic School.

1934 moved to Jiujiang, Jiangxi, renamed Jiujiang Ceramic Vocational School, and then moved to Jing 'an, Jiangxi (1937), Pingxiang, Jiangxi (1938) and Jingdezhen, Jiangxi (1944) to run schools. From 65438 to 0948, it was upgraded to Jiangxi Ceramic Institute, becoming the first ceramic institute in China.

1952 National colleges and universities were adjusted and Jiangxi Institute of Ceramics was abolished. On the basis of the original school site, equipment and some professional teachers, Jingdezhen Ceramic Experimental Research Institute (now called China Institute of Light Industry Ceramics) was established. 1958 with the approval of Jiangxi provincial people's Committee, Jingdezhen ceramic art school and Jingdezhen ceramic workers' technical school were established.

On the basis of silicate specialty in Jiangxi Industrial Technology School, Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute was established as an undergraduate, which opened a new page in the history of ceramic higher education in China. 1975 was approved by the State Council and became a university directly under the former Ministry of Light Industry.

From 65438 to 0998, it was jointly built by the central and local governments, with Jiangxi Province as the main management. 1999 China institute of light industry ceramics merged into the school. 1984 was approved as a master's degree awarding unit, and it was approved as a doctoral degree awarding unit in 20 13. 20 16 was renamed Jingdezhen Ceramic University.
