First, classroom teaching:

The music appreciation class in senior high school has also added a practical activity, which allows students to introduce music, express their artistic opinions and exercise their abilities.

The deficiency lies in the emphasis on the cultivation of emotion and interest, and the neglect of the teaching of music theory knowledge to students in grade three and grade one. Second, the classroom management:

Insufficient: Not enough criticism of students' behaviors that disturb the classroom. I always think that students are not malicious, but immature. Therefore, the environment is more relaxed for them. So that they can't really realize their mistakes and have no fear. Therefore, in the future, we should pay special attention to clear rewards and punishments and grasp the scale. Especially for middle school students who have a sense of superiority sitting in classrooms without desks and platforms. Also, humor is not used enough.

Third, extracurricular activities:

In order to better cultivate students' interest in music, according to the school's plan, a choir and an instrumental band were formed in Baoxian junior high school. Members of the choir basically sign up voluntarily. There are no extracurricular activities on Mondays and Thursdays. The members of instrumental band are composed of students who have the foundation of instrumental performance. Rehearse every two weeks on weekends.

In this semester: the first concert (instrumental music special) of Baoxian Middle School was held; Organize students to participate in the performance of the party between our school and Hong Kong-Canada International School; Hold a "three independence" competition in the high school attached to the middle school; With the joint efforts of school leaders and teachers, the annual large-scale cultural performance "The Voice of Baoji Mountain" was successfully held.

Disadvantages: the plan to form a band in senior one has not been realized. Learning instrumental music is a good artistic practice. For high school students who have few music lessons and are nervous about their studies, learning to play some musical instruments is of great benefit to their study and life. Many middle schools in the city (including several key schools) have student bands. The report has been submitted, and I believe our school can form its own band soon. Not participating in the chorus competition in the city makes students lose an opportunity to show themselves, study and exercise. I feel very guilty.

On the "Voice of Baoji Mountain" performance. I thought it was just a large-scale activity at the end of the year when teachers and students gathered together to welcome the new year. The procedure was not very strict, which affected the quality and effect of the whole party and the whistle was lengthy. The host can't make do with it, but must go through strict selection to ensure the quality of the party. We should also make preparations before the theatrical performances. Such as: venue, acoustics, staff and their responsibilities. This program must be rehearsed in the performance venue in advance.
