The role of ASEAN summit
Association of Southeast Asian Nations. It consists of ten countries, and the summit is held once a year. The functions of the ASEAN Summit are as follows:

First, strengthen the internal unity of ASEAN countries through the summit and resist external unfavorable factors.

Second, the economic complementarity among ASEAN countries. Maintain the prosperity and stability of the country.

Third, strive for various international organizations of the United Nations to make efforts to reduce poverty in poor countries within ASEAN.

Fourth, strengthen cultural, educational and training exchanges among ASEAN countries. The religious belief of people in southeast countries is mainly Buddhism. In the cultural exchange of the alliance, the YMCA of China sends overseas students to each other for talent training.
