Shantou University, located in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, is a comprehensive university in Guangdong Province sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government. It is a provincial-level university jointly founded by the Ministry of Education, the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the Li Ka-shing Foundation.
