How to sow rhododendron seeds (rhododendron saplings)
Rhododendron is a common flower plant with bright colors and long flowering period. The following steps should be paid attention to in seed seedling raising of Rhododendron rubrum:

1. Seed collection: after the azalea blooms, select healthy and mature flowers and collect seeds after natural withering. Peel off the seeds from the flowers, taking care to leave the seeds intact to avoid damage.

2. Seed treatment: soak the collected seeds in warm water for about 12-24 hours to promote germination. Then put the seeds into fine sandpaper or wet paper towels, put them into transparent plastic bags, and control the temperature at 20-25 degrees Celsius.

3. Sowing: select seedling tray or planting basin, and lay a layer of drainage material at the bottom, such as gravel or fine sand. Then pour in a proper amount of wet seedling soil, evenly spread the seeds on the soil surface and gently compact them. Finally, cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil (about 2-3 mm thick).

4. Environmental control: Keep the temperature of the conservation environment at 18-22 degrees Celsius and avoid direct sunlight. You can use a moist paper towel or watering can for moderate moisturizing to keep the soil moist. At the same time, providing proper light, 4-6 hours of scattered light every day can promote germination.

5. Germination and transplanting: Germination usually takes 2-3 weeks, and humidity and ventilation can be properly controlled according to germination degree and seedling growth. When rhododendron seedlings grow to about 5-6 cm high, they can be transplanted into a separate small pot for further culture.

6. Seedling management: keep moderate humidity, light and temperature to avoid excessive dryness or humidity. Give proper amount of water and fertilizer regularly to promote the growth and health of seedlings. At the same time, we should pay attention to pruning dead leaves and buds in time to keep the plants healthy.

7. Transplanting and planting: Generally, after one year, when the seedlings of Yingshanhong grow to a certain height and have a certain root system, transplanting and planting can be considered. Select suitable flowerpots or flower beds, plant them, and continue daily maintenance and management.

Note that rhododendrons are shade-loving plants, and it is necessary to avoid strong sunlight and excessive humidity. According to the actual situation and environmental conditions, adjust the light, humidity and temperature appropriately to ensure the good growth and survival rate of rhododendron seeds. In the whole process of seedling raising, we should closely observe the growth of plants and take timely management measures such as spraying water, ventilation, fertilization and pruning to cultivate healthy rhododendron plants.
