Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the only independent undergraduate college of traditional Chinese medicine in Hebei Province, which has the qualification of recommending outstanding fresh graduates for postgraduate study without examination. The school's predecessor was Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which was established in 1956. 1958 was named Hebei College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 1962 merged with Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This school is called Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and belongs to Hebei Province. 1969, Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine moved to Shijiazhuang and merged with Hebei Medical College to form Hebei New Medical University.
