Xi Translation Institute, referred to as "Western Translation" for short, is a high-level private university with great influence and distinctive characteristics, focusing on literature and business, featuring foreign languages and coordinated development of multiple disciplines.
The predecessor of the school is Xi 'an Translation Training College, which was established in 1987. In 2000, with the approval of Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, Xi 'an Translation Vocational College was established. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2005, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Xi 'an Translation Institute. In 2009, he was awarded the right to award a bachelor's degree. 20 14 became the first batch of application-oriented transformation pilot colleges in Shaanxi Province. 20 16 was approved as a pilot institution of "management evaluation" in Shaanxi province. 20 18 became the first-class private university construction unit in Shaanxi Province.
