What is the unified examination and what does it mean?
Unified examination: refers to the national unified examination implemented by the Ministry of Education for some public basic courses of network education in pilot universities of modern distance education.

Undergraduate unified examination, that is, undergraduate unified recruitment, originated in the 1970s and 1980s. It is the definition of the source of graduates when they graduate from junior high school to apply for technical secondary schools and graduate from high school to apply for undergraduate courses in universities or colleges.

Compared with the three kinds of graduate students at that time, namely "entrusted training", "directed training" and "self-funded training", unified recruitment is the name of new college students who enjoy state subsidies.

Extended data

In the pilot colleges and universities approved by the Ministry of Education and the "Pilot Project of Talent Training Mode Reform and Open Education" of Central Radio and TV University, students (including senior high school undergraduates and junior college undergraduates) who have entered online education at the undergraduate stage since March 1 2004 should take the unified online education examination in the pilot colleges and universities.

Only the students who entered the online education undergraduate course before March 1 2004 were sampled, and no unified examination was conducted at the initial stage of the pilot. How to take the exam is to be determined.

There will be no unified examination for the starting point of senior high school and postgraduate education.
