The Department of Education, where the major of Pedagogy Principles is located, is one of the earliest departments established in Yunnan Normal University. Its predecessor was the Department of Education of National Southwest Associated University, which was founded in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period 1938. At that time, it was formed by the merger of Peking University Education Department and Philosophy Department, Tsinghua University Philosophy Department, Nankai University Psychology Department and Philosophy Department, and Yunnan University Education Department. 1In August, 1998, the Education Department of Yunnan Normal University merged with the Education Management Branch of Yunnan Education College. 1999 merged with Yunnan Institute of Educational Science to establish School of Educational Science and Management of Yunnan Normal University. 2065438+July 2009, the school integrated the School of Education Science and Management, Yunnan Academy of Education Science and Institute of Higher Education and Regional Development, and established the Education Department of Yunnan Normal University. In the same year, the Committee of Education Department of Yunnan Normal University was established and selected as the first batch of pilot units for comprehensive reform of "three rounds of education" in China.
The Department of Education consists of teaching institutions and research platforms, such as the Department of Education, the Department of Psychology, the College of Preschool Education, the Department of Special Education, the College of Teacher Education, the Key Laboratory of Ethnic Education Informatization, the Yunnan Academy of Educational Sciences, and the Institute of Higher Education and Regional Development.
