Is repressive education good?
Repressive education method is usually considered as a bad education method, because it may have a negative impact on children's psychology, emotions and self-esteem.

This educational method often includes the use of severe punishment, threats, humiliation and criticism to control and motivate children.

The following are some possible negative effects of repressive education methods:

1. Negative emotions: Depressed education methods can easily lead to children's negative emotions such as fear, depression, anger and anxiety. This may damage their self-esteem and self-confidence and affect their study and personal development.

2. Rebellion: The use of repressive educational methods may lead to children's rebellion, and they may be disgusted with educators and try to escape the control and guidance of educators. This may lead to tension and alienation between educators and children.

3. Learning difficulties: When children feel oppressed and intimidated, their interest and enthusiasm for learning may decline. They may become passive resistance or anxiety, leading to learning difficulties and decreased academic performance.

In contrast, adopting positive education methods is more helpful to cultivate children's autonomy, enthusiasm and positive will. These methods include encouragement, praise, guidance, establishing good communication and relationships, and providing appropriate guidance and support. This method helps children to establish a positive self-image and promote their learning and development.

Therefore, repressive educational methods are not considered as good educational methods, while active and supportive educational methods are more conducive to children's all-round development.
