2. The history of the school can be traced back to Zhejiang Vocational and Technical School for the Disabled, which was founded in 1993. At the beginning, adult education and vocational training for the disabled were mainly carried out. 1May, 1998, the school started full-time technical secondary education, which filled the gap in general technical secondary education of special education in Zhejiang Province. Since 2000, the school has cooperated with Zhejiang Radio and TV University, Zhejiang Institute of Education, zhejiang vocational academy of art and other universities to carry out higher education for the disabled, which is an example of the implementation of higher education in schools of the National Disabled Persons' Federation system.
