One of my teachers once said that college entrance examination (basic education) in China is out of touch with university education, but there is no solution to this problem. Later, he explained this statement in detail, and I briefly described it as follows: 1. The essence of college entrance examination is to apply standardized answering mode. The teacher himself is the proposer of the history of college entrance examination. He said that all the questions he wrote in the college entrance examination basically followed a basic logical model and deduced the results from the reasons. There are few obscure places in language (leaning towards academic language in recent years), and the process of logical thinking is also very clear. Students can do it right as long as they master the outline knowledge points contained in the topic. In other words, he believes that the college entrance examination is not only a test of history, but also a test of logic, which is a combination of thinking training and skill training. 2. At present, university education is transforming into liberal arts education and scientific research, and it needs to draw a clear line with the previous engineer education. The actual situation is: dilute the professional differences of freshmen, strengthen general education and strengthen higher basic education. 3. China's 12-year basic education system itself is consolidated, with few substantial changes. In fact, the purpose of this kind of education is to prepare for the former Soviet-style engineer education, but it is no longer suitable for the present situation because of the free education of universities and the transformation of university functions into research-oriented ones. So that the reform of universities is now in a dilemma: if you want liberal arts, students' basic education can't keep up; If you want an engineer, it is not suitable for the transformation to research. Therefore, what needs to be changed is basic education. He believes that there is a big difficulty in implementing general education in the basic education stage, that is, the level of teachers. At present, the low income of teachers in ordinary public schools leads to the reluctance of good teachers to go. Students from good schools have now killed the whole audience and abused the quartet. If general education is implemented, it will certainly aggravate injustice. At present, China has not developed to the point of allowing class solidification (that is, the poor are still too poor). Therefore, this problem is an inextricable knot: the low income of teachers → the abuse of good schools → the intensification of class solidification → the widening gap between the rich and the poor (good schools are better, poor schools are worse). Therefore, basic education cannot be changed. Therefore, basic education and higher education cannot be changed. We can only maintain the status quo that basic education and higher education are out of touch. 6. He had to use his insignificant efforts to change the reality: he emphasized the research method of history in the college entrance examination. If the rest are politically incorrect, I won't repeat them so as not to cause him trouble.
