Taizhou Experimental School is a public primary school directly under Taizhou Education Bureau. Founded in 1999, it was originally a nine-year state-owned private boarding school. On 200 1, the brand of "Taizhou Foreign Language School" was added, and on 20 10, it was integrated into a public primary school directly under Taizhou Education Bureau. The campus covers an area of 1 10000 square meters, with a building area of 50000 square meters. There are 84 classes with more than 4,200 students and 170 faculty members.
Taizhou Experimental Primary School is a provincial experimental primary school in charge of Hailing District Education Bureau. It is the first batch of provincial-level teacher development demonstration base schools and an excellent popular science education base in Taizhou. The school was founded in the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), and its name was "Taixian Primary School". Its name has been changed several times since then. 198 1 was recognized as a provincial experimental primary school by Jiangsu provincial education department, and the school name was "Taizhou Experimental Primary School". 1998, supervised and evaluated by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, once again recognized as a provincial experimental primary school. As of May, 20 13, the school had full-time teachers 182, of whom 99 were under the age of 35, accounting for 54.4%, college degree or above 179, accounting for 97.3%, and bachelor degree or above 150 (six of them obtained master's degrees).
