Coupled with our current economic situation, it is not easy to raise a child. But I have always believed in Buddhism and karma. I also know how guilty abortion is. But now, I really don't know what to do. I really want to have this baby in my heart. After all, he is my child. The first child, though born at a bad time, is my own flesh and blood. But the reality does not allow, parents do not allow, the economy does not allow, the age does not allow, and the children pregnant with emergency contraceptives are even more unhealthy. I'm in a really complicated mood now. What's more, not long after I really started to learn Buddhism, I encountered such a thing and was at a loss. Let me talk about my karma with Buddha here. I have followed my family since I was a child. My mother is an old layman who eats vegetarian food and recites Buddha all the year round. So I also worship every Buddha and worship Buddha and Bodhisattva. I am in Hainan now. As we all know, there is a very spiritual Nanhai Guanyin in Sanya, Hainan. Last July, my boyfriend and I also visited Guanyin in Nanhai. It was my first time to worship Guanyin in Nanhai, and my boyfriend has been there several times. But I didn't expect that the first time I went to worship Guanyin in the South China Sea, the back of my left hand was burnt by incense sticks. Strangely, the incense that burned me was given by my boyfriend, and suddenly it shook and touched my incense, so my incense fell and burned my hand. I was soaked at that time, and now I can still see the traces of burns. I still don't understand. Is it because my karma is too deep that Guanyin warned me to punish me? Or is it because Guanyin doesn't agree that I am with my boyfriend? Because my boyfriend was not sensible when he was young, he made mistakes and drank too much alcohol and tobacco. Recently, my boyfriend's family has encountered many unpleasant and extremely unlucky things in succession. I believe this is because his karma is too heavy. I have been persuading him to learn Buddhism. He seems to be a little enlightened, but he hasn't started to recite scriptures every day like me. ) but I haven't delved into this matter since I was banned. What should my life be like? Until a few days ago, on June 19th of the lunar calendar, avalokitesvara gained enlightenment, and I went to the local nuns to attend the Dharma meeting early, and studied in the Buddhist temple all morning. Another strange thing happened. At the beginning of the Buddhist scriptures, I was thinking about the name of "Southern Guanyin Bodhisattva". Suddenly my heart is sour and I want to cry. I feel very uncomfortable in my heart. Tears kept rolling in my eyes. Fortunately, I controlled it. It happened several times. It feels like a child who made a mistake is sincerely begging for repentance. After chatting with friends, I realized that it was predestined relationship with Buddha. I talked to the master in buddhist nun about this matter, and the master also said that it was my karma with the Buddha. Because it has never been like this before, I firmly believe that it is the enlightenment of Buddha that makes me return to Buddhism and devote myself to it. So my boyfriend and I also invited a statue of Guanyin to offer at home. Now, I read the general books three times a day, the Tibetan scriptures once every three days, and I keep them with me (more than half a year). But I'm pregnant now, and I haven't been studying Buddhism for long. Knowing the karma of abortion, I still want to have an abortion. I really feel guilty! But I really have no choice. I don't know if my sincere repentance and prayer can be forgiven by Buddha, Bodhisattva and children. But I really have no choice. Reality does not allow it. I'm only 20 years old, I'm not married, my parents don't agree, and my financial situation doesn't allow it. what can I do? What should I do? My poor child is really innocent. I feel sorry for him, but there is nothing I can do about it. After searching the information on the Internet, I found that abortion within 49 days is a misdemeanor in Buddhism. My child should only be in my stomach for half a month now. If his god knew I was going to have an abortion, he would definitely be reborn for other better karma. Baby, I'm sorry. It's not that mom doesn't love you, but that there's really nothing she can do. If we are destined, I hope the next child will still be you. I don't want my children to be born again. I hope he is still my baby, but not now. But I don't want my baby to suffer in the unknown world in the future. He is innocent and poor. It's really unbearable. He is a life, but I killed his right to live! I am a sinner! ! ! Amitabha! What should I do? Maybe it was a real miscarriage. Because reality really doesn't allow me to have children. What can I do except endless confession? If I really have a miscarriage, I will definitely recite the scriptures to my baby every day, and I will definitely cross over for my baby. However, my conscience will still be uneasy. I hope my baby can be happy, but now I can't give him happiness. If crossing over to Buddha can make him die in the west, I will definitely study Buddha more diligently! What the hell should I do? Please help me! Now my heart is full of guilt! I want to kill a life, or my closest relative! ! ! My heart is bleeding for him! But I don't have the ability and courage to save him! I'm sorry! Ah, Amitabha! ! ! Please forgive me, Guanyin Bodhisattva! Talking about abortion from the perspective of Buddhism ◎ Bhikuni Shi Hengyun (the following content was originally published in the Source of Wisdom No.219, welcome to reprint! Editor's note (original edition): "All beings are equal" is the most basic concept in Buddhist teachings; Therefore, Buddhists express their respect for all sentient beings by protecting their students and being vegetarian. Buddhists pay more attention to the fetus's right to exist in human life, which exists from the moment of conception and can be conceived under any circumstances. This paper explains the Buddhist view of "abortion" from the perspective of compassion and causality, hoping that the public can understand the truth and essence of "abortion" and avoid the evil cause of "killing" from the root. -Can I have an abortion because of this? A: Abortion is a crime of stillbirth or homicide. The Five Commandments say, "If you kill the fetus, you must have an abortion. If the fetus dies, don't regret it." So basically, if it is abortion or stillbirth, because it is the natural end of the fetal life, it is not a homicide. But if you have an abortion on purpose, it's murder. ■ Q: But isn't it hard for parents to raise such children all their lives? A: It's really difficult, but there is karma in it. Because there is a problem, the child is reborn because of the fate of his parents. The so-called "husband and wife used to be predestined friends, good or bad, and they couldn't come." In the past, all children wanted debts, and those who wanted debts, those who wanted debts, and those who didn't want debts came. "Children come to be reborn, which has nothing to do with their parents, and they should be born in three ways, the fate of their father and the fate of their mother. What else is there? My own destiny. The Shurangama Sutra says: "People in the same trade are intertwined and go their own way. See the bright hair, see clearly; Differences become hatred, and common wishes become love. Love is the seed, love is the fetus, sex occurs, attracting peers; Therefore, there are karma, birth karma, and suppression. " "Peer" is a self-created industry, and has the same karma as parents. Because of their peers, there is a kind of love between them, which seems inseparable, and they can't get rid of each other, but they are viviparous, ovoid, metaplastic and wet. When people come to be human, they have eight senses first; When you die, the eighth knowledge is at the end. If you know it, it will be cold; It won't be cold if you don't go. So "go first and then be the host". During the period from death to reincarnation, the eighth consciousness is "Zhongti", also called "Zhongti". Everything in the bardo is dark, and nothing can be seen. But he (she) is predestined friends with which father or mother, and he (she) has a father-son relationship, that is, he (she) has a trade. No matter how far away Wan Li is, when his father or mother lusts there, he or she will see a little light there; He (she) is unconscious At this time, there is a force like a magnet. No matter how far away, he (she) will be sucked in and reborn! This is called "love seeds, love the fetus, have sex and attract peers." "The first week after conception is called' Crolan', which means' congealing', that is, it condenses into something similar to milk. The second week was called "Stop Putan", which changed from slippery to blister. It will gradually take shape in the future. The Twelfth National Games says "ignorance". Ignorance means that men and women have a kind of love and then have sex. " Knowing the destiny and acting ",having sex, and another kind of knowledge, is the knowledge of" thinking for the fetus "; This time is the reincarnation of the vulva. In other words, there is life at this time! So there is a special karma between children and parents. Even children who are sick have a special karma. There was no ultrasound before, and everything was born. Now there is an ultrasound, oh, it's Mongolian, so take it off! I thought it was to take away my troubles in the future. In fact, this kind of fate is usually not a good fate, but you must have it. If your parents can't get rid of it, killing him will increase the evil relationship between them. This kind of bad luck may be even worse in the afterlife. For example, among the "twelve kinds of life" mentioned in the Shurangama Sutra, there is a kind of sentient beings called "no thoughts", which is not without thoughts, but with abnormal thoughts. For example, after the owl is born, it will eat its mother and feed itself with her flesh and blood. Why does it eat mom? Because they were born in the past, they have deep resentment, such as biting off their hands. The child in the previous life was the benefactor of his mother, but his mother may have killed him in various ways, leaving him unsatisfied and unable to appeal, so he was born his son in this life and will eat his mother. And so on, there is a karma. But people in the world don't understand cause and effect, so they think that a defective fetus can be aborted; This can be said to be worse. Basically, this kind of fetus should not miscarry, but should have this kind of karma. You owe me my life, and I will pay you back. ■ Q: Can a girl get pregnant when she is raped? A: This situation is very sympathetic. However, there is a causal relationship. It is best to let the girl know that since there is such a cause and effect, the child will be born and raised. Of course, this girl may have to suffer a lot in this life. But from the perspective of causality, it is a more appropriate method. Abortion, in today's society, has become a flood. Let me tell you some real stories as a warning. 1982, when people went to Malaysia to preach the Dharma, a girl got very serious cancer. Cancer has invaded her bone marrow and reached her back, liver, hands and chest. She has a lump on her body and a big tumor in her brain. A year ago, her foot was amputated because of cancer. In desperation, she turned to Gong Xuan for help. As soon as the master saw her, he asked her, "Do you have a boyfriend? Are you related to him? "As a result, as the man above asked, she had a child with her boyfriend when she was a teenager. Because I had to take the middle school entrance examination, I was carried away by love. At the instigation of my boyfriend, I had two consecutive abortion operations, and then I got cancer. She sincerely repented to the public at the Fa Conference, and soon her condition improved, and she could sleep peacefully that night without any pain. Master told her that she must cut off her emotional roots and stop any distractions. When her conditions really improve, she can go to Wanfo City for an internship. She also agreed to be happy. However, after Master returned to Wanfo City, he never came again. Until one day, I suddenly received her telegram, saying that I would arrive in Wanfo City in a few days. When she came, she was very ill and desperate. Why? Because she can't keep her promise, and her boyfriend is broken, she can't keep her virginity, so she is ill again. Although rescued by a group of doctors, he still died; At that time, the four disciples of Wanfo City also held two underground storage meetings for her, but her murder was too heavy and she was entangled with her relatives and creditors. A few weeks later, she died Another example is that a layman mentioned that some time before his mother died of cancer, she acted like three people, once like a little boy and once like a little girl, and then she returned to her original appearance; When you become a little girl, you will still spoil him. It turned out that his mother had had two abortions in the past, a man and a woman; Now they come to "mom" and cling to "mom". So everyone in the world only sees the "effect" side, but not the "cause" side. Let's think about it. After the child is born, he is the darling of his parents and takes good care of him. The child in the womb is also his own child. How could he (she) be killed? In this way, even children from good karma will become bad karma, hatred and "children are difficult to get along with." In the Shurangama Sutra, it is mentioned that "if you use money or goods, or serve them, you will only be paid." "For example, kill his life or eat his meat; If this is the case, even after the dust robbery, eating each other is like a wheel, competing with each other without rest. Don't stop sleeping except when he and Buddha are born. " That is to say, if all beings are in financial debt, whether they are human or animal, in this life or in the afterlife, money or goods, or labor, and they are even with each other, their karma will be over. Although no one is necessarily dominant in this silence, because it is a karmic relationship, none of us want to suffer, so you must never take advantage of me. What I take advantage of you will naturally stop as long as it is fair. But what if it's a lifetime debt? In the middle of making enemies, either kill each other or eat each other's meat. Then you eat my meat, and I will kill you; I eat your flesh and you kill my body; It's like a wheel turning constantly. Unless you get an explanation, or a Buddha is born, you will be freed from this evil karma; Then both sides knew each other and stopped until they got back together. Otherwise, this blood feud will be difficult to calm down. No wonder Master Gong Xuan said, "I want to advise you not to have another abortion. Think about it. Before a life is born, it will become a ghost and there are terrible children everywhere. Do you think society will be peaceful? What these children need are people who are not greedy for money and have ways to cross over. The children are strong! This is very difficult. Crime is everywhere. Do you think it can be peaceful? " If yes, if yes ■ Q: My relatives and friends are all gynecologists. If pregnant women have financial difficulties or too many children, can they have an abortion? A: About 30 years ago, before I became a monk, I read an article in the newspaper written by a nurse. She mentioned that in the hospital where she works, young nurses are afraid to work at night. Why? Because babies often cry at night in the abortion operating room on the second floor, they are too scared to work at night. But she is willing to work the night shift because of her family, because it is more convenient for her to take care of her family; Moreover, she was courageous and went to work as a night nurse. How's it going? In the operating room on the second floor of the hospital, when there is no one at night, there are often children crying. Not surprised, she continued to work the night shift. One day, when she was about to get off work, that is, in the early morning, a pregnant woman who was about to give birth came and looked very anxious. Only when she was on the night shift did she know that the woman had given birth, but she died in childbirth, and her father didn't come, so the child was put in the nursery. She doesn't know what karma is, so she takes special care of her children unconsciously; Maybe it's a pity that the child has no mother! After taking care of her for a while, one day, when she came to work on the night shift, the nurse in the day shift told her that her father had come to take the child away today. After the child was taken away, that night, because she worked the night shift, she sometimes fell asleep unconsciously. In the twilight, the nurse saw her mother who died in childbirth and said to her, "Thank you for taking care of my child for so many days. I really appreciate you, and I will help you take care of other children. " From that night on, when she was on duty, there was no baby crying in the abortion operating room on the second floor! Do you say that the unborn fetus has no spirituality? Is he (she) just a piece of meat? The cut meat is dead meat; We all have meat on us. What makes our meat-eating activities a part of our lives? What if I cut off the flesh and blood in my stomach and use this meat to grow into human essence? Will he (she) become a tramp in the spiritual world, and who will he (she) go to for this debt? There was a woman who went to the hospital to have an abortion when she was studying because she was too young to understand. At that time, the fetus was aborted, but the physical and mental scars were difficult to heal. A few years later, at the gate of this hospital, there was a car accident at the intersection where she went to have an abortion. Therefore, abortion is harmful to both mother and fetus, both physically and mentally! One day, a lay man came to the Dojo with her obstetrician husband. Why? The doctor is suffering from cancer and hopes to help him through the power of Buddha and Bodhisattva. He told me that he pays great attention to health and exercises every day to keep healthy. I don't know why he got cancer. In fact, the social atmosphere of abortion is flourishing, so don't be careless as an obstetrician and gynecologist! The doctor's duty is to "heal the wounded and rescue the dying"; Helping people to have an abortion is against life. What to sow, what to bear. "Karma" is what we make every day; "Why" means that you do it once in a while. This cause is planted and will bear fruit in the future. If seeds are sown in spring, they will not be harvested until autumn. From sowing to fruiting, this is called "the fruit of seed cause". This "karma" is what happens from spring to autumn; That's what you often do. This is called karma. Take the previous example, a young woman had a miscarriage, which is "cause"; Obstetricians and gynecologists often help people to have abortions, which is "karma". This industry, if you do it at any time, may be rewarded at any time. Doing good is a good karma, and doing evil is a bad karma. The Bodhisattva in the Sanskrit said: "If the Buddha commits suicide, he will teach people to kill, which is convenient, respectful and enjoyable, and even curse to kill. Cause, cause, law and industry of killing. Even all living people cannot be killed. " The so-called "suicide" is to end the other person's life by yourself; Including suicide. "Teach others to kill": Although you don't kill yourself, teaching others to kill, such as persuading people to kill themselves or sending people to kill others elsewhere, is the same as killing yourself. Let's start with the example of "teaching people to kill". In the 1980s, a manager-level gentleman came from Southeast Asia to the holy city of Wanfo for help because he was suffering from cancer. The master asked him to repent in front of the Ten Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and four other people in the Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall in the holy city to save his evil cause. He mentioned that he ate the flesh of all beings inhumanely because of his bad karma, such as eating monkey brains and goose feet. Then the master asked him, "Have you ever killed anyone?" He said, "absolutely not! I don't know how to kill unless I am drunk. " The master asked again, "What about your wife?" "Oh, I remember, once I asked my wife to have an abortion!" So, these lives are all coming to him to collect debts! So, someone asked you if abortion was good. She should be advised not to have an abortion Don't say, "Take the child away when you are in trouble." This is teaching him to kill. You keep the precepts and have the merits of keeping them; Breaking the precepts is the sin of breaking the precepts. But as far as causality is concerned, causality exists whether it is destined or not. This kind of negligent killing of the fetus should be mutually correct in causality. I've seen the same mother cross over a dozen unborn fetuses on the cross-over tablet, which is shocking. How many lives are there in this body! Human ignorance leads to an ignorant future; An ignorant future makes people more ignorant; Like a snowball. Reflection and adjustment of thinking ■ Q: What is the mage's view that September is the month of abortion? A: This is a question asked by an announcer more than ten years ago. When I don't understand why September is abortion month? The announcer replied, "Because students have summer vacation, many things have happened between the sexes. If you are pregnant, students will go back to school to have an abortion in September. " Well, it was like this ten years ago, let alone now. Speaking of this matter, in fact, everyone has a responsibility-(1) From the perspective of diet: people should eat human milk, but most children nowadays grow up drinking milk; Cows are animals, and animals are animals. Children are raised with animal milk. After weaning, there are big fish and meat, desserts and fried foods. With such a diet to raise children, children may seem to grow up quickly and in good health, but there is no real health foundation, and at the same time, desire is heavy and psychological maturity is not enough for physical growth. (2) Media flooding: When we enjoy the convenience brought by science and technology, the younger generation loses protection and doesn't know how to be honest. (3) In education, education is to teach people "savvy" rather than "fame and fortune". However, the current education is the opposite. The younger generation is not nourished by moral education, just like having no roots, drifting with the tide and losing the foundation of being a man. Therefore, it is easy for students to indulge themselves and do whatever they want, and the abortion month will come out! If we can improve education, diet, realize the negative effects of science and technology, and strengthen moral concepts, there will be no term "abortion month" in the future! The conclusion brings you the correct knowledge, that is, practice. Once, I attended a meeting with the theme: "The influence of Buddhism on social participation". Personally, I think it is the biggest influence to transform people's hearts with Buddhism! As a monk, I don't think I have to go out and do something to contribute to society. But if we can bring the correct concept to everyone, let everyone have the correct concept, and then influence others and interact with each other, we will have the correct concept. Just as we are talking about abortion now, this is a grim fact that exists in society. If everyone has the right ideas, it will help many lives if you bring the right ideas to others. So bringing you the right knowledge is part of practicing Buddhism!
