The admonition system of officials in Qing dynasty followed that of officials in Ming dynasty. There were two schools in the early Qing Dynasty, namely, the main academy and the Sixth Academy, the Ducha Academy and its subordinate fifteen schools, and the central and local imperial history. Yongzheng and Yong Zhengdi reorganized their institutions, reduced redundant staff, merged six departments into academies, and put up signboards for the two institutions, thus achieving comprehensive coverage of central and local supervision. Because there are six "section chiefs" in the works, there are 15 "officials" in the imperial history of the imperial government.
