Xi' an University of Arts and Sciences, referred to as Xi Arts and Sciences and Western Arts and Sciences for short, is a full-time general institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education in 2003, sponsored by the Xi government, and jointly established by provinces and cities, and enrolling students nationwide. It is formed by the merger of Xi University, Xi Teachers College, Xi Education College, Xi Preschool Teachers College and Xi Teachers College.
