Walking into the memorial hall, a stone statue of Fang Zhimin stands in the center, and the five characters "Hero of Fang Zhimin" are engraved under the stone statue. The memorial hall has four rooms and one hall, and there is a mourning hall in the main hall. In the middle of the mourning hall, there is a monument engraved with Mao Zedong's inscription "The people's heroes are immortal". There are many introduction cards about Fang Zhimin hanging on both sides. The tour guide said: In his youth, Fang Zhimin took an active part in the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal struggle, organized and led the famous "Qigong Town Uprising" and started the journey of "two cannons and half counterattacks". Following the guide's footsteps, we went up the stairs. There are many signs hanging on the wall upstairs. The words on the signboard introduced many deeds of Fang Zhimin: in order to reduce rent and resist taxes, he did not hesitate to do the right thing with his uncle; He suffered a lot for the secret of the Conservative Party and never revealed any news. He died heroically in Nanchang at the age of 36. Fang Zhimin wrote The Lovely China, A Brief Introduction to My Revolutionary Struggle, Poverty and so on. Upstairs, we also saw the wax figure when Fang Zhimin was absorbed in his work. Everyone paid tribute to him and observed silence.
In the afternoon, we visited Fang Zhimin's former residence. The former residence is located in Qigong Town, which is an ordinary six-story farmhouse. Entering the room, I saw several wooden pillars in the corridor. The room is very humble. The first thing you see is a huge photo of Fang Zhimin, with Fang Zhimin's family portrait hanging on both sides. The introduction card shows the relationship between Tang Zaigang, Fang Gaoxian, Fang, Fang Zhihui and Fang Zhimin. There are three chairs on each side. We came to Fang Zhimin's room, and there was a black dress in it. This is the new dress that Fang Zhimin has been reluctant to wear. There is a table next to it. I think: Fang Zhimin should be working here, and his busy figure seems to appear in front of my eyes. The backyard is a bamboo forest, quiet and beautiful. Fang Zhimin will be there thinking about the problem, thinking about how to fight tomorrow and how to destroy the enemy. ...
On the way home, the students were all in a heavy heart. Fang Zhimin's tall image caught my eye, and his patriotism and dedication inspired us. We must study hard and serve the motherland with excellent results. Fang Zhimin's poor life touched everyone. In the future, we must be frugal, not wasteful, and not vain.
