Shen Bo, promoted to professor in 2002, is now a librarian, master tutor and third-class professor of Yunnan Art College. In 2005, Yunnan Provincial Department of Education awarded the title of "Young and Middle-aged Academic Leaders of Teaching and Research in Yunnan Universities". He is currently a member of the Academic Committee of Yunnan Art College, a member of the Senior Professional Title Evaluation Committee of Yunnan Education Department, a member of the Senior Professional Title Evaluation Committee of Yunnan Culture Department, the chief scientist of Yunnan Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Center, a member of the Standing Committee of the Art Education Committee of Yunnan Education Department, and a member of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan Evaluation Committee of Yunnan Province. He is also a consultant to several government functional departments and a visiting professor at several universities.
