School Code According to the national standards such as Classification and Code of National Economic Industries, Code of Administrative Division of the People's Republic of China, Code of Statistical Division, Code of Statistical Urban and Rural Division, the Ministry of Education uniformly formulates school code compilation rules and school code management information system, and uniformly organizes local education administrative departments to do a good job in coding, updating and applying school codes.
2. The school identification code refers to the unique and unchangeable identification code compiled by the Ministry of Education in accordance with national standards and coding rules.

Newly-built colleges and universities are endowed with school identification codes by the Ministry of Education.
If the school is revoked, its code will stop being used, but it will still remain in the code management information system. Stop using the code shall not be handed over to other schools to ensure the uniqueness of the code.
Other schools are merged, and the school level and category have not changed. The school identification code remains unchanged, and the school attribute code is changed according to the actual situation.
If the level and category of running a school change due to the merger and upgrading of schools, the original code will be stopped and handled according to the newly set school code.
If the school is merged, its code shall be handled in accordance with the code handling method of the revoked school.
If you resume school, you will re-enable the original school identification code and change the school attribute code according to the actual situation.
If the school just changed its name, the original code will be used, but the name change information of the school (institution) needs to be filled in the code management information system.
