Since 1990s, the school has sent a large number of talents to Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, China Renmin University, Tongji University and other national first-class universities. In 2003, it was recognized as a first-class school by the Education Department of the Autonomous Region, as a "sports traditional project school" by the Sports Commission of the Autonomous Region in 2004, and as an "educational practice base" by Guangxi Normal University in 2005.
