Why education and training?
First, the purpose and significance of prison education

1. Test and summarize the transformation results through education outside prison, and consolidate the transformation results. Through the education of getting out of prison, criminals can further learn the lessons of past crimes, sum up the achievements of reform, and make clear what kind of person they should become and what kind of road they should take in the future. It can be seen that the education of getting out of prison is of great practical significance to criminals. Therefore, in the education of getting out of prison, criminals should be required to fully cherish this period of time. In the process of learning, it is required to closely contact with personal thought and practice, and strive to solve ideological and cognitive problems, including confessing and repenting, changing outlook on life, and striving for confidence in a better future. In this way, we can test our own transformation achievements and think about the transformation life for several years: that is, what cognitive problems have been solved by transforming our criminal thoughts? How big is the harvest? Why are the reforms carried out in the same environment? Some people were rewarded with meritorious service and reduced sentences, while others were given additional sentences. All these require criminals to turn around and seriously reflect on themselves, systematically sum up the positive and negative lessons of subjective and objective aspects, and make clear how to be a man in the future and how to be a new person to meet the needs of the four modernizations.

2. Through the education of getting out of prison, the concept of legal system of criminals can be further strengthened. In the process of criminal reform, the first thing to be solved is to plead guilty and obey the law, and legal education runs through the whole reform process. The word "law" makes criminals feel special. It has accompanied criminals through the whole reform life, and will also accompany criminals to a new life future. Therefore, it is more important for criminals to learn, know and abide by the law.

After the reform and education in prison, most criminals can learn from past crimes and realize that although there are many reasons for their crimes, the lack of legal concept is an important factor. During their imprisonment, most people have established the determination to abide by the law and achieved good reform results. However, there are still a few people who say something different from what they think. Even a few criminals will not plead guilty, refuse to obey the law, and try their best to retaliate and commit crimes again as soon as possible. Once they return to society, the result will be that YoYo will repeat the same mistakes and be severely dealt with by the law again.

Through the education of getting out of prison, criminals can see their future clearly, enhance their confidence and welcome a new life. Everyone is concerned about and thinking about the future of criminals. It is natural that some people can't even eat and sleep well. This kind of mood is also understandable. The problems they consider can be summarized into three aspects: first, they are worried about employment; The second is to worry about family life; 3. Suspicion and fear of social discrimination. The core of these three is the future. The criminal has been in prison for many years. Although they have learned something beyond the Great Wall through newspapers, magazines, movies and television, they are not very clear about the current political, economic, reform and development situation of the whole country. Therefore, there will naturally be some concerns and even prejudice. If we can't correctly solve the problem of understanding the future neutrality before getting out of prison, then the first step after getting out of prison will go astray, lose confidence and even collapse.

Most criminals have made some achievements in reform and have the determination to turn over a new leaf. After returning to society, many people will get enthusiastic education and help. But at the same time, we can't rule out the incomprehension and distrust of some people. Because they have hurt society, people and others in the past. Therefore, before being released from prison, it is necessary to educate criminals to treat such problems correctly, and to change others' views by their own efforts, their own practical actions, and the achievements made on the way forward. In other words, to make criminals understand that if they want to change others' views and gain the trust of society, they must first change their own image. The key is whether you have the confidence and courage to break with your past.

Second, the specific methods and measures

The education of leaving prison should take strengthening the legal concept of criminals as an important content and central task, guide criminals to further reflect on themselves, dig deep into the root causes and harm of crimes, sincerely accept the lessons of crimes, and completely break with their old selves. Don't go through the motions, don't engage in "surprise" and arrange it for about two months. Education outside prison should have obvious "transition" and become a "intermediary" and "bridge" connecting prison and society, which should be the most remarkable feature of education outside prison. It is necessary to guide criminals to visit, study and "see the world" in society, gradually reduce the sense of strangeness, inadaptability and distance between criminals and society, and truly complete the socialization of criminals.

1, we should conscientiously do a good job in joint education and summer-planting education. The joint assistance and education carried out inside and outside the Great Wall has played an important role in promoting the ideological transformation of criminals and establishing the confidence to turn over a new leaf. However, as far as joint aid and education activities are concerned, some problems need to be improved. For example, people pay more attention to the help and education of long-term criminals and criminals with long remaining sentences, but it is often easy to ignore the help and education of short-term criminals and criminals who are about to be released from prison; Some units have failed to keep up with the joint assistance and education, and the joint assistance and education has been terminated after the criminals have served their sentences. Accordingly, prisons should actively cooperate with relevant social departments to improve and constantly improve the content and form of joint assistance and education. Practice shows that there is only joint assistance and education between prisons and local governments in Han Dynasty, while there is joint assistance and education between prison cadres and relatives of criminals. Such assistance and educational activities are not empty. On the other hand, only the joint help and education between the reform-through-labour cadres and the relatives of criminals, but not between the prison authorities and the local government, can not fundamentally solve some ideological and practical problems of criminals, such as family problems, marriage problems and resettlement after serving their sentences. Therefore, the author thinks that we should take the joint assistance and education between prisons and local governments as the "classics" and the joint assistance and education between correctional cadres and relatives of criminals as the "latitude" to establish a joint assistance and education network. On this basis, collective assistance education activities should be combined with individual counterpart assistance education; General education and probation should be combined with key assistance and education to enhance the pertinence, flexibility and effectiveness of joint assistance and education. The criminal's sentence is drawing to a close, and all kinds of ideological activities are more complicated. Some criminals run wild in the countryside before being sentenced, and when they return to China after serving their sentences, they plan to "find another way out" for fear of being "slaughtered". Some rural criminals have long prison terms. After serving their sentences, they find it difficult to solve their personal marriage problems in their hometown, so they decide to "run away". Other criminals are too poor in their hometown, or have made enemies with local officials, or their marriages have been hit, or they hold a grudge against their hometown and are not prepared to go home at all. Therefore, we should strengthen the joint assistance and education inside and outside the Great Wall to solve the "ideological deadlock" of criminals and make them dispel all kinds of worries and unrealistic ideas. At the same time, it is necessary to help them solve problems, solve some personal practical problems, eliminate other people's ideological concerns, and lay the foundation for a smooth return to society. When a criminal returns to society after serving his sentence, the relevant departments of the local government should do a good job in succession education in time. To consolidate the transformation results, continuing education is an indispensable key work. So we should attach great importance to it.

2. Do a good job of "early resettlement". Labor placement has a direct impact on the reform of criminals. It is an important measure to consider the placement and employment of released prisoners in advance to prevent them from committing crimes again. Therefore, prisons and relevant social units and departments should give priority to the placement of released prisoners.

In order to further improve the placement of released prisoners, the author believes that all counties and cities should set up employment guidance offices for released prisoners. The guidance office should keep in constant contact with the relevant prisons, and learn about the transformation performance, physical fitness, technical expertise and expiration date of prisoners in this area. Prisons also have the obligation and responsibility to actively provide the above information to the employment guidance office of ex-prisoners before they are released from prison, so as to implement the resettlement work.

While doing a good job in the resettlement of released prisoners, we should also do a good job in the "spiritual resettlement" on the eve of the release of prisoners. That is to say, on the issue of job placement, criminals who are about to be released from prison should be given a shot of "prevention" and "reassurance" to make them feel that they have jobs to do after returning to society in advance and will not be discriminated against, thus urging them to unswervingly repent and do good.
