OSSD course content
Students must complete 30 credits (18 compulsory courses and 12 elective courses) and 40 hours of voluntary practice, and pass the OSSLT before they can obtain the OSSD graduation certificate.
I. Compulsory courses (18 credits)
1, English (4 credits, 1 credits per year), Mathematics (3 credits, in 1 1 or 12 grades, you must get 1 credits), Science (2 credits), Canadian history.
2. One point for each of the following groups?
One group (choose one): English or French as a second language, classical or international languages, social sciences and humanities, Canadian and world studies, guidance and vocational education, cooperative education. ?
The second group (choose one): health and physical education, art, business, French as a second language, cooperative education. ?
Three groups (choose one): science (grade 1 1 or 12), technical education, French as a second language, computer research and cooperative education.
Second, elective courses (12 credits)
Students must successfully complete 12 elective (extra) credits in their fields of interest.
Elective courses include: science direction: chemistry, biology, etc. Business major: accounting, economics, etc. , and computing major.
Three. Other requirements
1, 40 hours community service.
2. Meet the literacy requirements of provincial middle schools.
