It is one of the largest and most influential art groups led by China and composed of artists from all ethnic groups. The Association enjoys the status of a non-governmental organization in the United Nations, with its headquarters in Beijing and secretariats in various provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. It is called the Secretariat of China Artists Association (provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions). At present, the Chinese Art Association has established friendly relations with overseas Chinese in more than 60 countries and regions on five continents.
