College of Ethnic Preparatory Education of Ningxia University is a specialized educational institution for training ethnic preparatory students inside and outside Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Established in 1989. In 2005, it became a joint unit of the Education Department of the Autonomous Region, the Ethnic Affairs Commission of the Autonomous Region and Ningxia University. In 2006, it became the national ethnic preparatory base for colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education. The Preparatory College is located in the south campus of Ningxia University, jinfeng district, Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, with a campus area of 346.50 mu and a school building area of 19685m2. There are 54 faculty members in the Preparatory College, including 35 full-time teachers. Among the teachers, there are 6 senior titles, 25 intermediate titles and 3 doctoral students. The proportion with postgraduate education or academic qualifications reaches 7 1.4%, and 1 person enjoys the special allowance of the State Council. The college also hired experienced part-time teachers, forming a stable team of full-time and part-time teachers. Minority preparatory students 168 1 person, including 832 minority preparatory students in colleges and universities in the region and 849 minority preparatory students in colleges and universities outside the region. Students come from 37 ethnic minorities and 19 universities in 18 provinces, including 3 universities in the region and 16 universities outside the region (including key universities such as Northwest A&F University, xidian university, Chang 'an University, Nanjing University, Southeast University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Tianjin University and Zhejiang University). The college has a college office, a teaching and research section and a student affairs office. There are five teaching and research sections of Chinese, foreign languages, mathematics, computer and ethnic theory, and ethnic preparatory education 1 research room. There are two reading rooms, advanced multimedia classrooms, computer rooms and language laboratories.
