A: The basic forms of education are school education, family education and social education. (1) School education refers to the educational activities that teach knowledge and skills purposefully, planned, organized and systematically, cultivate ideological and moral character, and develop intelligence and physical strength through specialized educational institutions. School education is the dominant form of education in a country's entire education system. (2) Family education: refers to the purposeful and conscious education of the new generation and other family members by parents or other elders in the family. Family education can be divided into broad and narrow meanings. Family education in a broad sense mainly means that a person is purposefully and consciously influenced by other family members in his life. Family education in a narrow sense refers to the conscious education given by parents or other family elders from birth to adulthood. (3) Social teaching: The basic meaning can be divided into broad sense and narrow sense. Generalized social education is different from what we call generalized education. Generalized education refers to all kinds of social activities that consciously cultivate people and are beneficial to their physical and mental development. Social education in a narrow sense refers to the education of social members by students, social and cultural institutions outside the family and relevant social groups or organizations.
