What are the types of education system in modern schools?

The educational system of a school generally refers to the rules and regulations with different characteristics in different grades and schools. Generally, these rules will stipulate the nature of the school, what kind of talents to train, the conditions for admission and so on. The educational system of a school is closely related to the relationship between schools and the division of labor between schools. At present, the modern education system has undergone a series of historical evolution, such as private schools, early long-term schools and schools of different disciplines. Modern school education is mainly divided into the following categories.

First, the dual-track and single-track schools are mainly established from the privileged schools in ancient times, and these schools are more for the public and the children of working people. Only in this way can both sides develop. The so-called "dual track system" means that universities and middle schools face senior students from top to bottom, and primary schools face more vocational schools from bottom to top. Then these two tracks are not connected with each other. This academic system is actually not conducive to the popularization of education. Single track system refers to the educational system divided by age. That is, we are familiar with elementary school, middle school and then college. Although this kind of education system is more conducive to the popularization of education than the dual-track system, the level of education cannot be guaranteed, and the comparison of teaching level and teaching quality between schools is also very different.

Second, the branch school system mainly comes from the Soviet Union. Compared with the dual-track and single-track education systems, the branch school system is not very flexible. It means that students in vocational schools can enter the corresponding universities or institutions of higher learning after completing their studies, which is different from the single-track system, mainly because students study together at the beginning and start to branch after entering the middle school stage.

In fact, the separate academic system makes up for the disadvantages of some dual-track and single-track systems, which enables students to lay a good foundation in the basic primary and secondary schools, which is conducive to the popularization of education to a wider range of people and can also ensure the teaching level. It just lacks flexibility in operation.
