In order to educate their children well, parents need to maintain close feelings with their children, provide them with decision-making power and rights, learn to adjust their mentality, control their material possessions and maintain the harmony of family life.

First, close feelings with children. Friendship plays a very important role in the process of cultivating happy personality. Therefore, children should be encouraged to play with their peers and learn to communicate with others.

Second, provide children with decision-making power and empower them. Guiding and controlling children's behavior is closely related to their happy personality. Children should be given opportunities to know how to use their decision-making power.

Third, learn to adjust the child's mentality. We should make them understand that the future is always bright when they are frustrated and teach them to adjust their psychological state.

Fourth, control children's material possessiveness. We should educate them with concrete examples to make them understand that happiness in life can't just be equated with material wealth.

Fifth, families should maintain a happy and harmonious family life. A major factor in cultivating children's happy personality is family harmony. Some data show that family background has a great influence on the shaping of children's character.
