The school is based on education and teaching. Since its establishment more than 70 years ago, it has formed a distinctive school-running feature of "serving basic education" and is known as "the cradle of people's teachers". In the 1980s, the school took the initiative to serve rural basic education and embarked on a "Changbai Mountain Road" which is quite famous in the field of basic education.
