Guangxi Rongshui National Health School was formerly Rongshui County Health School. In order to solve the problem that primary medical staff in ethnic minority areas can't leave and stay, and improve the long-term shortage of medical care and medicine in ethnic minority areas, Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County, Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County, Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County and Rong 'an County decided to jointly establish ethnic health schools to train ethnic health cadres. With the consent of the people's government of the autonomous region, Guangxi Rongrong was formally approved on August 20th 1985. The school is now under the leadership of Liuzhou Education Bureau, and it is a national general secondary health school. The school is located in the county seat of Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, covering an area of 25 mu, with a school building area of 10596 square meters. It has more than ten teaching complex buildings, office buildings and apartment-style student dormitories, equipped with an electric classroom, a computer room, six teaching and research rooms, 12 teaching laboratory and an 80-bed affiliated hospital. The total value of teaching experimental equipment is about 5 million yuan. The school has rigorous academic research, complete teaching facilities, is good at clinical teaching, pays attention to the cultivation of students' practical skills and comprehensive quality, pays close attention to teaching quality and trains practical talents. There are four majors: health care, nursing, maternal and child health care and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, among which nursing is the backbone of the school. At present, there are 420 students, and the employment rate of graduates in the past three years is over 90%, with a total of 4,800 graduates and more than 2,000 trainings. The current principal of the school is Guan, and there are 47 teaching and administrative staff, including 3 senior lecturers, 3 experimenters and 2 assistant lecturers, including 6 double-qualified teachers.
