Not merged. Official website of Yichang Education Bureau shows that Yichang No.22 Middle School was renamed Orange Song Middle School in 2022, but it was not merged with Yichang No.1 Middle School. Yichang, formerly known as Yiling, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of China and Hubei Province, a sub-central city of Hubei Province and a regional central city in the central region. It is located at the junction of southwest Hubei Province and the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
