Jinling Institute of Science and Technology was formally approved by the Ministry of Education in 2005, and was formed by the merger of Jinling Vocational College and Nanjing Agricultural College. The college covers an area of 2,900 mu, with a building area of 350,000 square meters and more than 20,000 students. The disciplines cover seven categories: industry, agriculture, economics, management, literature, law and art, with more than 50 undergraduate majors. The college has nine departments (colleges) including business, humanities, art, information technology, mechanical and electrical engineering, construction engineering, horticulture, animal science and comprehensive technology, as well as basic courses, international technical college and continuing education college. At the same time, we use foreign capital to establish an independent college-Longpan College. The major of communication engineering and software engineering in this school was selected as the pilot major of Jiangsu Excellent Engineer (Software) Education and Training Program. Longpan College 20 14 has stopped enrolling three groups of students.
