Exploration of Infiltrating Frustration Education in English Teaching
Exploration of Infiltrating Frustration Education in English Teaching With the continuous development of the times and the fierce competition in the world, contemporary middle school students, as the protagonists of China's participation in the world competition in the 2 1 century, have aroused widespread concern in the whole society, and the voice for frustration education and improving their psychological quality is increasingly strong and urgent. We English teachers can educate students about setbacks in time, guide them to overcome difficulties, resist setbacks, improve their quality, and reduce burdens and increase efficiency.

Psychological research shows that frustration education is a kind of quality education aimed at students' psychological immaturity and weak endurance, including the education of cognitive theory and the intensive cultivation of psychological adaptability.

Combined with the usual English teaching practice, I think we can educate students about frustration from the following aspects:

First, treat setbacks correctly.

One of my students usually studies hard, and his parents have high expectations of him. I hope he can be admitted to a key middle school. To this end, he worked hard, but his academic performance was not ideal. From then on, he was devastated and very depressed. Seeing all this, I chatted with him and told him that failure is not terrible. We must bravely overcome setbacks and stand up. I told him the story of Zhang Haidi and the story of Paul. After many heart-to-heart talks, he began to calmly analyze the reasons for his failure and cheer up. After entering middle school, through my own efforts, my academic performance has been among the best.

The key to infiltrating frustration education in teaching lies in how to treat setbacks correctly. Therefore, it is beautiful to infiltrate ideals in teaching, but it is long, tortuous and arduous to realize them. Students should be encouraged to have the courage to overcome difficulties and not be afraid of difficulties and setbacks.

Second, to carry out teaching activities to cultivate students' ability to resist setbacks

It is not easy to acquire knowledge and improve quality. It requires long-term efforts and unremitting pursuit. Although success can bring people a sense of satisfaction and happiness, consistent success is not good for students, and it is easy to make students feel proud, thus reducing their interest in learning. Especially some students who are competitive and easy to be complacent, sometimes immersed in self-appreciation, and occasionally successful, will mistakenly think that they are evidence of their superior ability, thus blindly proud; Once frustrated, they easily become self-doubt and lack self-confidence. Therefore, in order to train students' will, correct attitude towards failure and ability to deal with failure, that is, the ability to resist setbacks, students must be allowed to experience certain setbacks.

At present, many students lack the spirit of hard work and the confidence and courage to overcome difficulties. Therefore, it is necessary to give students appropriate "bad stimulation" through a series of activities to cultivate their positive and optimistic attitude towards life, so as to improve their psychological endurance and adaptability to setbacks.

The activities here not only refer to some sports or class meeting activities, but also include English classroom activities. Moreover, the purpose of the activity is not only to make students "suffer hardships", but more importantly, to let them experience the taste of "going through hardships" and make it clear that setbacks are just "paper tigers", thus establishing the determination and courage to overcome difficulties. When they encounter difficulties again, their endurance and adaptability will be greatly enhanced.

For example, we can arrange a learning task slightly higher than their level for each kind of students at different levels, or we can arrange some "obstacles" appropriately so that they can't reach it. Only by "jumping" and "thinking" can we achieve our goal. In this process, special attention should be paid to giving extra help and guidance to some underachievers to ensure that every student has a sense of accomplishment in overcoming setbacks. Third, use incentives to mobilize the enthusiasm of setbacks.

Incentive method is a method to stimulate, encourage and mobilize people's enthusiasm and enthusiasm, and its purpose is to promote the realization of goals. When students encounter learning setbacks, teachers and students can motivate them to resist setbacks and stimulate their determination and motivation to overcome difficulties through incentives such as teachers and students and collective incentives. Specifically, the following measures can be taken: students voluntarily form pairs to help and spur each other in the learning process; Teachers guide students to look forward to a bright future after overcoming difficulties, thus encouraging students to overcome setbacks for a bright future; Discover and praise students' progress in time and encourage them to overcome setbacks further.

Fourth, strengthen psychological counseling and attach importance to individual education.

We should understand and trust students and eliminate opposing feelings. Opposition is a reflection of students' rebellious psychology after frustration. Teachers should improve their ideological understanding and strengthen their rationality through positive education and heart-to-heart talks. Because every teenager has strong self-esteem and self-motivation, and is eager to get respect, trust and encouragement from others, it is necessary to seek their opinions and safeguard their self-esteem when something happens; At the same time, we should believe in the progress of the student union, create a relaxed and harmonious environment, and eliminate opposing emotions.

Every student will encounter setbacks, which requires our teachers to give them appropriate guidance after they encounter setbacks. The road ahead is tortuous. As long as you find the right direction and persevere, you will certainly succeed. Marx said: "There is no royal road to science, and only those who climb along steep mountain roads can hope to reach the glorious summit." I think this sentence will always push us forward.

In short, setbacks are temporary and permanent, and the ability to resist setbacks should run through a person's growth. Western education and mental health experts all believe that people's good attitude towards setbacks is acquired through constant setbacks and difficulties in childhood and adolescence, and so is the so-called "learning from mistakes". Students' sound psychology, especially good will quality, is also formed and developed by struggling with setbacks and difficulties in study, life and practical activities. If life is compared to a sharp knife, then frustration is an indispensable stone. In junior high school English teaching, correctly guiding students to overcome setbacks in the learning process, helping students to have the motivation and confidence to learn English persistently, and reducing and transforming students with learning difficulties will be of great benefit to our English teaching in an all-round way and will also have a far-reaching impact on students' future study and life. Therefore, the organic combination of English subject teaching and frustration education is worth exploring by our English teachers in theory and practice. ;
