The examination content consists of two parts: hard pen writing and brush writing, and the duration is 1 hour. Candidates can freely arrange the writing time of soft pen and hard pen during the examination time.

According to the "Shanghai Compulsory Education Writing Grade Examination Standard", the first and second level examinations are composed of hard pen writing and brush writing, and each student must complete a hard pen writing and brush writing test paper.

Cross-school borrowing students are registered by the school they attend.

Students who are unable to complete the examination due to illness, disability and other special reasons may not participate in the registration and examination upon the application of their parents and students.
