Bodhisattva is on earth, but you don't know it. Recently, I chatted with a few friends and recalled that many of my friends were actually bodhisattvas. Their behavior is really a bodhisattva. There is even a Shen Jushi here. I usually scold him when he comes. When he came to pay a New Year call to me last year, he said that he was in poor health and was ill. I talked about him, and he said, teacher, you don't have to worry about me. It doesn't matter. Downstairs, he told others that the teacher was worried about me and I was definitely going to the west. As a result, the relic was burned after his death, and his friend came to tell me that he had confirmed it and cashed it. I told you that he would have come again. It makes no sense for me to scold him. You don't understand. These sages are here again, all on earth. Seriously, where are the buddhas and bodhisattvas? The Shurangama Sutra tells you: "No Nirvana Buddha, no Buddha-like Nirvana". Self-nature is nirvana. Where can I prove nirvana? All the buddhas and bodhisattvas in the ten directions and three realms can be said to be coming again, but you just don't know it. Again, they are all wandering in the world of three thousand, treating all beings with great kindness and compassion.
This is what we laity should follow. At home, don't jump out of the three realms, not even the lowest desires. But if you really want to learn from Bodhisattva, you must do it strictly: even if you live in the world, you can really give up. Giving up is not becoming a monk, especially many elderly friends in their sixties and seventies. Why can't you give up? These worldly things can be released, and you should be able to get rid of them. You should have seen through it all your life, and if you can't get rid of it, you should learn Mahayana Bodhisattva.

Nan (19 18 March 18 -20 12 September 29th), born in Yueqing, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China, is a contemporary writer, educator and master of Chinese studies in China.
Nan Shen Jutu studied in Zhejiang Wushu Museum's special training class for Wushu coaches, Central Military Academy's political research class and Jinling University's research institute. In War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, he joined the army and cultivated land. He used to be the general manager and commander-in-chief of the self-defense group of Liangshan Reclamation Company. After returning to Shu, he taught in the officer education team of the Central Military Academy. After that, he gave lectures at Yunnan University and Sichuan University. After 1949, he moved to Taiwan Province Province, and has been a professor at Taiwan Province Political University, Fu Jen Catholic University and Chinese Culture University. Later, he lived in the United States, Hong Kong and other places, during which he founded the East-West Essence Association, Laogu Publishing House, Humanities World Magazine and Knowledge Magazine. During my stay in Hong Kong, I was concerned about the construction of my hometown. In his later years, he settled in Suzhou Taihu University Hall. 20 12 died in Suzhou on September 29th at the age of 95.
