Educational classification of computer education
The application of computer in education first refers to computer-aided instruction (CAI). Functionally, it can be divided into two types: auxiliary type and original type. The former is attached to the formal curriculum, and the computer program used in one auxiliary teaching is short (half an hour to an hour), which only plays an auxiliary role. The latter can independently replace formal courses, and the procedure is longer. According to the function, CAI can be divided into simple type and complex type. The former uses a simple and easy-to-learn programming language, which requires less hardware support and limited functions. The latter makes full use of computer language, graphics and other advanced means, and introduces complex programming languages that are helpful to write CAI programs (called courseware), so it takes a long time to master the use of large computers. The advantages of CAI are mainly that students are active and flexible, the rhythm is appropriate, they learn a lot, and the efficiency is high, while teachers have a wide range of services, which can better implement the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.

Looking forward to the further penetration of computers into society, the demand for computer education is increasing day by day. The number of people from all walks of life who want to learn computer knowledge will also increase greatly. Some people call programming "the second culture". The use of computers will cause great changes in the whole teaching process and even the way of thinking. This trend will in turn promote the progress of computer science and technology. The microcomputer is more perfect and equipped with various intelligent devices. In China, Chinese character input and output equipment and Chinese character library are particularly important. It is also an important aspect to develop CAI language which is closer to natural language and independent of machine, to establish a large-scale distributed microcomputer network and to strengthen the exchange and sharing of CAI programs.

According to the object of computer education, it can be divided into three categories: professional education, continuing education and universal education. Title: Computer Education
