In 2004, it was named "Anhui Famous Family Education School".

In 2006, it was rated as a model ordinary high school in Fuyang City.
In August, 2007, it was awarded as a model school of language standardization in Fuyang.
In June 2008, the research group of the planning project "New Curriculum Reform and Campus Literature Research" of the Ministry of Education was formally established as an experimental school.

In April 2009, Linquan No.2 Middle School successfully passed the evaluation and acceptance of provincial model ordinary high schools.

In 2009, the college entrance examination of Linquan No.2 Middle School achieved great success, with 943 undergraduates. The first and second place of liberal arts in the county are students of our school (starting from 1999, the top five liberal arts students in our county are all from No.2 middle school).
