What does the Agricultural and Rural Bureau do?
The Agricultural and Rural Bureau is an administrative institution of the government, which is composed of the following units: office, policy and regulation department, planning and finance department, rural economic system and management department, market and economic information department, science and technology education department, planting management department, agricultural mechanization management office, animal husbandry and veterinary office, agricultural comprehensive development office, personnel department and leading group office for poverty alleviation and development.

Agriculture and Rural Bureau is the government administrative agency in charge of agriculture, rural areas and farmers in prefecture-level cities, county-level cities and counties in China, and is responsible for managing agricultural departments and supervising agricultural behavior.

The functions of the Agricultural and Rural Bureau are: 1. Organize the drafting of laws and regulations related to agriculture and rural areas, formulate departmental rules and regulations, and guide comprehensive agricultural law enforcement; 2. Coordinate the development of rural social undertakings, rural public services, rural culture, rural infrastructure and rural governance; 3.
