Most of the existing master's nursing education in the United States is based on the spirit of "Characteristics of Master's Nursing Education" issued by the National Nursing Union 1978, and is determined according to the purpose of running a school, mainly to cultivate senior talents engaged in nursing practice and lay the foundation for studying for a doctorate in the future. Its curriculum is divided into: compulsory basic courses, compulsory courses and elective courses for various majors. In order to complete the teaching task, its teaching methods are flexible and diverse, and cultivate students' ability to analyze and judge problems, think seriously and make decisions. Master students already have the status of teachers in clinical practice and have more practical autonomy.
