Renmin University of China
China Renmin University is a national research-oriented comprehensive university focusing on humanities and social sciences, directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Beijing Municipality. The school's predecessor was Northern Shaanxi Public School, which was born in the bonfire of 1937 War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, followed by North China United University and North China University.
Famous educators Wu, Cheng, Yuan, Huang Da, Ji Baocheng and Chen successively served as principals. The current party secretary is Professor Jin Nuo, and the principal is Professor Liu Wei.
Zhengzhou University
Zhengzhou University is a national "2 1 1 Project" key construction university, and was selected as the national "Comprehensive Strength Enhancement Plan for Universities in the Midwest", which was jointly built by the Henan Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. The school covers a total area of more than 5,700 mu, with 56,000 full-time undergraduates, 0.5 million graduate students and 0.6 million international students from more than 60 countries and regions.
