Taishan College, located in Tai 'an City, Shandong Province, is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school's predecessor, Tai 'an Teachers' College, was founded in 1958, and its school history can be traced back to the Tai 'an Government Teachers' College founded in 1905 (the 31st year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty). During 1999, five municipal schools in Tai 'an merged to form a new Tai 'an Teachers College.
