1, Shanxi University
Shanxi University is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in China, a national "double-class" university and a provincial university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the Shanxi Provincial People's Government.
The school's predecessor was Shanxi University Hall, which was founded in 1902. Its long history can be traced back to Jinyang Academy, Lisan Academy and Lingdetang Academy in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The School of Translation of Shanxi University, founded by the school, is the second translation school founded by China Modern University, which has effectively promoted the cultural exchange between China and the West. In the 1920s and 1930s, Shanxi University was famous for its large number of places and talented people.
2. Taiyuan University of Technology
Taiyuan University of Technology is a century-old institution with a long history, extensive knowledge and distinctive features. It is located in Taiyuan, a national historical and cultural city with a history of more than 2,500 years. Its predecessor was Shanxi University Hall, which was founded in 1902. It is one of the first three national universities in China.
1953, the school was established independently, named Taiyuan University of Technology, directly under the Ministry of Higher Education; 1962 was placed under the management of Shanxi province; 1984 was renamed Taiyuan University of Technology.
1997, Taiyuan University of Technology merged with Shanxi Mining Institute directly under the Ministry of Coal Industry (founded in 1958) to form Taiyuan University of Technology. In the same year, Taiyuan University of Technology became one of the national "2 1 1 Engineering" key universities, which opened a new chapter in reform and development.
3. Shanxi Medical University
Shanxi Medical University, formerly known as Shanxi Medical College, was founded in the ancient city of Bingzhou, 19 19. 1932 changed to private Shanxi Chuanzhi Medical College. 1940 changed its name to medical major of Shanxi University. 1946 was upgraded to National Medical College of Shanxi University. 1996 changed its name to Shanxi Medical University.
The school is the third batch of authorized units for doctor's degree in Shanxi Province, the first batch of authorized units for master's degree in China, the first batch of authorized units for bachelor's degree in China, the first batch of pilot units of the "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education, and one of the first eight medical colleges in China to resume pediatric undergraduate majors.
