(a) by reeducation through labor, public security detention, bail pending trial, residential surveillance, compulsory education, compulsory drug rehabilitation, detention, control, criminal detention, probation, the basic pension is suspended, and the living expenses during the period of administrative and criminal punishment shall be handled in accordance with the "Reply on the Opinions of State Organs and Institutions on Handling the Wages of Persons Subject to Administrative and Criminal Punishment".
(2) If a retired national civil servant violates the criminal law during his tenure or after retirement and is sentenced to more than fixed-term imprisonment according to law, his pension and other retirement benefits shall be revoked from the month following the effective date of the judgment.
